Delivering Responsible Business Standards with IHG

Vision has had a longstanding relationship with IHG for many years and we’re proud to have worked alongside them on a number of different contracts, including developing IHG’s bedding brand standards.

In 2014, Vision introduced a ‘Next Generation’ range specifically designed for IHG which included pillows, duvets and mattress protectors for their Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express brands. This was in order to create the new bedding brand standards to rollout as part of IHG’s ‘Next Gen’ hotels, designed to meet the changing needs of the modern traveller.

Rooms featured Smart TV’s, free Wi-Fi, beds with higher padded noise-reducing headboard and flexible work and rest areas. IHG invested in overhauling their guest bedrooms in order to enable them to stay ahead of the game and provide guests with unique and innovative stays.

This ‘Next Generation’ range of products were in-line with IHG’s brand standards, ensuring a consistency across IHG’s hotels, with unprompted room audits to ensure that each hotel adheres to these requirements. Parallel to this, a new bedding and towel range developed by Vision was successfully implemented with the support of numerous European laundry partners.

Vision also partnered with Hypnos during this time to offer a ‘complete bed time story’ ensuring that all requirements; for the bed, mattress and bedding were offered to the range of IHG franchises.

Between 2017 and 2018, Vision began an ongoing project to upscale filled linen, flat linen and terry bedding to the Crowne Plaza, Indigo and Staybridge Suites hotel brands, also part of the IHG Group.

In 2017, Vision enjoyed great success with the linen supply of the first Kimpton new-build in Amsterdam. The bedding products we supplied to IHG received shining reviews from owners of the hotel, IHG staff and customers alike further cementing our fruitful relationship with IHG and our ability to offer a diverse range of products designed to meet varying standards for each of their hotel brands.

IHG launched a new upscale brand in 2018; voco. The roll-out of voco has taken place across Europe, the Middle East and Asia and Africa regions with plans to take it to the Americas and Greater China over time. IHG promises guests an altogether different guest experience with the voco brand, brought to life through a bold and distinctive identity, informal service and thoughtful touches throughout.

Encouraging guests to partake in ‘me’ time, the brand offers extra cosy beds, quality bathroom amenities, rejuvenating aerated showers and superb connectivity in every room.

Vision was given an approved supplier status for both the bed linen and terry for the new voco brand and continues to work alongside the IHG team to deliver their exact standards and requirements for outstanding and luxury linen.

Only this year, Vision were also granted an approved supply for filled products for the voco brand of hotels and launched their new Vision Eco Pure filled product range to IHG; with each product equipped with a Global Recycling Standard certification.

Vision continues to work with IHG to offer a comprehensive and vast range of linen suitable for their numerous brands throughout 2019 and beyond.
