Celebrating Earth Month 2025:  Reporting Our Impact with Tree-Nation

At Vision Linens, we believe sustainability is more than a value—it’s a responsibility. In celebration of Earth Month 2025, we proudly partnered with Tree-Nation to take measurable action toward environmental restoration. The result? A meaningful contribution to global reforestation and climate resilience.

Our 2025 Impact at a Glance

Thanks to this year’s efforts, Vision Linens has:

• Planted 183 trees
• Reforested 0.11 hectares of land
• Offset 7.62 tonnes of CO₂

These trees are being planted across key reforestation initiatives in Madagascar, Tanzania, and Kenya—regions where ecological restoration is critical not only for the planet, but for the well-being of local communities.

Supporting Biodiversity Through Species Variety

Reforestation isn’t just about quantity—it’s about planting the right species in the right places. Our trees in 2025 span a rich variety of types:

• 64.5% are general plant species
• 21.9% are medicinal, supporting local herbal knowledge and wellness
• 8.7% are endangered, contributing to global conservation efforts
• 4.9% are classified as majestic species

Through your purchases we were primarily able to plant three species of tree: Rhizophora mucronate, a mangrove that stores carbon and protects coastlines, Ceriops tagal which supports wetland ecosystems and carbon sequestration, and Afrocarpus usambarensis an endangered species important to forest biodiversity in East Africa.

Each tree helps restore habitats, prevent soil erosion, and lock away carbon, making them a small but mighty tool in the fight against climate change.

These reforestation projects support far more than the environment. They create sustainable employment, restore degraded land, and help reduce poverty in local communities. It’s a powerful model of circular, regenerative action—and one we’re proud to be part of.

What’s Next?

While Earth Month may be only 30 days, our mission continues year-round. As we move forward, Vision Linens has made the decision to continue partnering with Tree Nation for the rest of 2025.
