Industry Celebrates Achievements at Laundry and Dry Cleaning Awards
The laundry and dry cleaning industry celebrated people, companies and products on 7th November at the inaugural LADAs event.
Taking place at Mercedes-Benz World in Surrey, the LADAs sought to reward all that is excellent in the industry and, now in their fifth year, have become the pinnacle of this often-invisible sector.
The LADAs aims to recognise companies, individuals, services and products which stand out from the crowd, those who go above and beyond in bringing a new level of customer service and those who overcome the challenges of changing society and technology.
Vision Support Services; the entertainment sponsor for the evening, had a team of representatives in attendance including Lee Francis, the Key Account Director for Vision’s Laundry Division, who was on-hand to deliver two of the awards to the worthy winners.
Vision also donated a number of raffle prizes to the LADAS; with all proceeds of the raffle going to the Pancreatic Cancer Charity.
The LADAs began in 2014 and since then has grown exponentially, now being classed as the go-to event of the year for those in the textile services industry.
Lee Francis said: “The LADAs really are a celebration of the true tenacity and dedication of individuals who work in this sector.
We’ve seen a considerable amount of consolidation across commercial laundries over recent years and it was an honour to be able to present those people who work so very hard with a much-deserved award.”
