Vision Linens Partners with Greenly to Advance Carbon Transparency in the Hospitality Supply Chain

2025 has seen us formalise our partnership with Greenly, a carbon accounting platform. They have helped us to build out our carbon reporting so that are confident that all our calculations are based on the latest science and in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. As we continue to partner with the world’s largest hospitality brands we have invested in working with a carbon accounting specialist to ensure our Green House Gas (GHG) reporting is reliable and reported to best practice standards. As well as putting us on a path towards goals that are aligned to the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi).
The Greenly integration has also set a precedent by establishing a baseline for use in our carbon reporting over the coming years. Our baseline year is 2023, and our 2024 report shows our Year over Year (YoY) variations in emissions. For example the efforts via our global manufacturing team have seen a 42% reduction in absolute scope 1 emissions via their energy efficiency & innovation projects. Our ongoing commitments to renewable energy, sustainable procurement and supply chain engagement have seen us secure a global group silver medal rating for 2024.
Read on below to see how we’re using the insights from our GHG report to drive action.
Strengthening Scope 3 Visibility
Scope 3 emissions—indirect emissions from a company’s supply chain—often account for the largest share of environmental impact in the textile sector. Through our partnership with Greenly, Vision Linens now benefits from comprehensive carbon tracking and analytics across all key impact areas:
- Material sourcing
- Logistics and travel
- Packaging
- Waste management and recycling
This data-driven approach enables Vision to identify emission hotspots, track progress over time, and provide clients with sustainability reporting across scopes 1-3.
Michelle Ryan Chief Operating Officer said: “With global Scope 3 emissions accounting for 77 % of our overall footprint it’s important we track and report progress across the key scope 3 categories. The data provides valuable insight into where we can focus our reduction efforts and collaborate across our supply chain”
Measurable Sustainability Actions
The Greenly partnership also reinforces Vision’s existing sustainability roadmap. The company is actively building out a net zero roadmap including;
- Lowering the environmental impact of travel
- Support shift to renewable energy sources
- Launching Lifecycle assessments to get to product level emissions insights
- Supply chain engagement to improve supplier specific reporting
- Optimised packaging for reduced weight and waste
- Data-backed net zero carbon reduction roadmaps aligned with internal and client goals
These capabilities position Vision Linens not only as a supplier, but as a strategic partner for clients with net zero ambitions and requiring supply partners with climate-positive credentials.
Jonathan Storie, Chief Executive Officer of WestPoint Group said: “Our investment and collaboration with Greenly reflects our commitment to a world where hospitality & sustainability can live comfortably. We strive to provide textiles that enable exceptional guest experiences while reducing textiles impact on the planet. We welcome the opportunity to share our journey with our customers and suppliers as we commit to taking steps to enabling a net zero supply chain.”
