The ninth annual Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 List has been published and global textiles firm Vision Support Services has ranked at number 80.
The company, based in Blackburn, Lancashire, has ranked in the league table four times now out of the last five years.
This prestigious league table ranks Britain’s top mid-market private companies with the fastest growing international sales from the last year. Compiled by Fast Track and published in the Sunday Times each June, the company’s directors will now attend an awards event in September where they will be presented with their glass plaque and certificate.
Managing Director, Laurie Thomas, said: “Our primary mission is and has always been to be the preferred supplier and distributor of specialist, luxury and performance textiles to the global hospitality, healthcare, government and retail markets. We’ve spent the last year crafting a strategic business plan which has included developing new relationships, continued geographical expansion and the recruitment of new and dedicated staff.”
Earlier this year, Vision invested heavily in its worldwide sales and distribution footprint through the introduction of a brand new sales office in Shanghai and warehouse facilities in Blackburn and a Group Hospitality Sales and Marketing Director to underpin the sales activities both in the UK and across the globe.
The company also celebrated earlier this year as a combination of new business wins and development of existing contracts helped drive revenues to almost £50m with expected revenues forecasted at £60m for 2018/19.
Laurie continued: “These figures, and our inclusion on the Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 for the fourth time show, above all, the quality of the people we have within Vision and is testament to all of their hard work and dedication.
“It’s the people who excel in delivering our vision; we’re much more than a ‘box of sheets’ and we’re proud to have such a diverse, exceptional set of individuals who each have helped to make Vision what it is today.”
The full league table is set to be published as an eight-page supplement within the business section of the Sunday Times on June 10th.
